The Consortium invited MSPs in the last Parliament to vow to do something for the epilepsy community. Of the 67 MSPs who agreed to take action, some chose to become better informed about epilepsy issues facing constituents and to raise epilepsy awareness locally. Constituency meetings were arranged by Epilepsy Connections and Epilepsy Scotland with former Minister for the Europe and International Development, Humza Yousaf MSP and the then Parliamentary Liaison Officer for the First Minister, Jim Eadie MSP.
